Snow, snow, and more snow...

Here in Denver we've had some of the strangest weather this winter. We've hit records for both warm and cold days. I believe they said that we had made record for having some of the warmest days in December, and in February, we set the record for having the coldest days.
Last week, several schools were closed due to the cold weather (-30 degrees), which is similar to a lot of other states all across the nation.
In the last week though, we finally got hit with snow here in the Denver metro area. 'Til now, the only snow that's been accumulating is up in the mountains. We got a "break" today, but we're supposed to several more inches by Tuesday.

Yesterday's snow was the prettiest so far. I know this is anti-climactic, but I just wanted to share how pretty it was. Yesterday, the snowfall was so pretty and peaceful. It was the kind of snowfall where you wish you were up in the mountains in a cabin with a fireplace going.
